Dear friend and supporter of Church of Sweden San Francisco,

2017 is drawing to a close and on behalf of the Church of Sweden San Francisco we want to wish you wonderful Thanksgiving, Advent and Christmas Holidays. Thank you so much for your support and generous donations through the years!

With this letter we kindly ask you to consider Church of Sweden San Francisco as you plan your year-end tax exempted charitable donations.Church of Sweden San Francisco serves all Swedes in the San Francisco Bay Area: Families, students, au pairs, young adults, seamen, elderly, the sick and grieving, as well as inmates and Swedish tourists visiting our city. We celebrate monthly Swedish services in San Francisco and Los Altos, and organize fellowship groups for students and au pairs. As part of our special focus on reaching out to young Swedish families, we offer regular music- and play groups for children and a monthly family service in Los Altos. The pastor visits the sick and homebound and gives spiritual guidance and emotional support to many in crisis.

Church of Sweden Abroad (SKUT) provides a financial base for our congregation, by paying the wages of the Minister and the rent to the Norwegian Seamen’s Church in San Francisco. All other expenses – the pastor’s residence, vehicle, insurance, organist, rent to Los Altos and Swedenborgian Churches, office equipment,  and much more – must be funded locally.

The Church of Sweden San Francisco is privileged in having a large group of friends like you. Your contributions and donations of time and money are of great importance to us and greatly appreciated. We want to express our gratitude for contributions made, and our confidence and hope that you will continue to support the work of Church of Sweden San Francisco.
