The columbarium, housed in the church’s crypt and with entrance from
Västmannagatan, has about 8 000 niches with room for about 35 000
sepulchral urns. There is also a church here, the Little Church, which is used for minor services, concerts and funerals. The altar piece by Olle Hjortzberg has the motif ‘Great is the earth, great is God’s heaven’. Other famous artists who have adorned the columbarium are Sven ‘X-et’ Eriksson and Einar Forseth.
