Children's pilgrimage

Would you like to be a pilgrim for a day? Anything is possible – all you need is a mobile phone or a tablet.

The “Church Path” between Frösö Church and Sommarhagen is a mini version of the trail with eight stations, seven of which represent real locations. Each station has a QR code. Follow Emma and Magnus to learn about Saint Olav’s life in 1030 and being a pilgrim in 1339.

Suitable for children aged 7–12 with an adult (or grown-up kids!).

Children can borrow simple robes and staffs from the shop. They can also receive an “Olav Letter” (diploma) after the walk.

The Children’s Pilgrimage is also available along Pärlstigen (”The Pearl Trail”) by Sunne Church. Pärlstigen is a short nature and meditation path set in stunningly beautiful surroundings. Most of the trail is accessible for people with limited mobility.
