In the middle of all this is The Church of Sweden. We have churches and parishes both in the central town and in surrounding towns in the municipality. We share the gospel in the presence, with openness and hope, aware that life consists of bright and dark days, and that both joy and sorrow is often when we share it with others. We believe in a God who is present in our lives and who creates, liberates and gives life.
The Christian faith has for a long time characterized Skellefteå and actively contributes to the municipality's work for humanity, faith in the future and a sustainable future. We want to continue and strengthen that work.
