In the darkest time of the year, Lucia brings us a message of light and hope. Welcome to a Swedish Carol Service with singers from the Ulrika Eleonora Church Choir bringing traditional Lucia and Christmas carols in a candlelit church. With prayers and greetings from our congregation, and covid distanced singing by an ensemble from the choir led by Director of Music Toril Briese, we are united in the spirit of advent and Christmas.
We are happy to announce our Lucia Services for 2020
This year it will look different due to new Covid 19 regulations and we are taking every precaution we can to make it as safe as possible. Please read through the changes for this year below.
We have limited the number of people who can attend each service but in return added a few extra services in the hope more guests will have the opportunity to attend.
There will be three kinds of seating
-
Family ticket means that you buy an entire bench in the church for your household/support bubble, we recommend the maximum of 6 people
-
Couple ticket means that you buy two tickets in a pair and these will be seated together and at a safe social distance from other people.
-
Single ticket means that you will have one seat, at a safe social distance from other people.
For Brighton, there is a General Admission ticket and only sold separately.
After the service in Ulrika Eleonora, on your way out there will be a take away version of Lucia fika. This will include coffee/tea/squash and a saffron bun which is included in the price.
Everyone will be required to wear a face mask for the entire service and temperatures will be checked on arrival.
We regret that we can't bring any buggies inside this year, but they will be secured outside.
Due the uncertainty around restrictions we will offer a full refund on your ticket should the event not go ahead.
Please perhaps consider donating the price of the ticket should the event not go ahead.
