	THE ORDINAL
	The Church's acts of ordination express that Christ, through the Spirit, within the people of God and for the sake of the Gospel, call individuals to lifelong service. This calling is confirmed by the ordination of the church.
	The Ordinations of bishops, priests and deacons are equal expressions of the fullness of the Gospel and of the Church's ministry from the perspective of the Gospel, and which is to be put into effect in words and deeds.
	By tradition, the term ordained ministry is used in our church for the tasks of being a priest or a bishop. Other terms, such as 'delegation', 'vocation', and 'service' aim to express the same call from Christ to be a servant of the gospel.
