	THE EUCHARIST WITH A THEME
	The Eucharist with a special theme may be celebrated using the order of service appointed for the Eucharist, Family Eucharist or Sunday Eucharist but following throughout a chosen theme other than that of the liturgical year. The appointed order and structure of the service should be used, but with the exception of communion itself and the music, all the parts may be designed on the basis of the chosen theme.
	With the permission of the Domkapitel (official diocesan body exercising oversight) the Eucharist with a Theme may be celebrated as the main Sunday Service.
	Alternatively, the structure, the lessons and the music may be chosen to accord with the theme. The words of institution and the distribution of bread and wine must however be included. A Eucharist with a theme of that kind may however not be celebrated in place of the main Sunday Service.
