Advent Candles

We light the Advent candles in preparation for Christmas, as we remember those who prepared the way for Jesus:

- the Patriarchs - Abraham, Isaac and Jacob

- the Prophets - especially "the second Isaiah"

- John the Baptist

- and finally, his mother Mary.

Christmas Carols

Skapad: 2009-12-07 21:00:00

As usual, we shall celebrate the traditional Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols twice, on Wednesday December 17 and Sunday December 21.
Both services begin at 18.00 but you are advised to come between 17.30 and 17.40 if you want a seat. For those who like a shorter, more informal service, we shall be singing Carols Round the Crib at 16.00 on Friday 19 December - a good break from last-minute Christmas shopping.

Our Carol Service at Hakarp, Jönköping on 7 December at 18.00 was very well attended - and no winter snow in sight!
