The 18th century building to the left of the cathedral’s main entrance is home to the Cathedral Café. Visitors’ toilets can also be found here.
The café is run by Uppsala’s City Mission and welcomes both individuals and groups. Here you can have a cup of coffee and enjoy Swedish pastries in a historical setting. The café also serves sandwiches and light lunches.
The Cathedral Café is open from 10 am until 4.30 pm (from 11 am to 4 pm Saturdays and Sundays/bank holidays).
In summer the café may be open a little longer in the evening. On some holidays the Cathedral Café may be closed.
2014 the café is closed on 1 January, 15 June, 20 June, 24 december, 31 December. Open as bank holidays 6 January, 1 May, 29 May, 21 June, 26 December. 25 December open 8-11 am.
